The organizations which make up the Family of Freemasonry support or contribute to many, many charities. Throughout the United States, Masons and Eastern Stars contribute in excess of $2,000,000 per DAY to a great variety of charities. This charitable support is sometimes visible and at other times not so. The many members of the State of Illinois MF&M  are proud to contribute to and support these charities. • Christian Community Academy (CCA) – Bathsheba Grand Chapter assisted with the refurbishing after serious weather damage to the Chicago Public School days before school was scheduled to open. BGC volunteers, painted, cleaned & relocated furniture to get the school in condition to pass inspection and open on time September 4th!
  
• “Ten Hut” – Support Our Troops – October 2, 2007, Bathsheba Grand Chapter collected items for donations to servicemen & women in Iraq. The children of BGC made fans with their pictures and words of encouragement for the soldiers. Military personal spoke to the children @ the event it was a great honor and success.
